Sensing Form. In Real Life brings together installations and drawings looking at the experience of three-dimensionality in everyday life. This can be found in the shifting patterns of trees or buildings glimpsed in motion, and the subtle spatial revelations that come with changing perspectives, along with the fluidly altering patterns of form and space created as manmade and natural structures develop.
The installations and drawings work with senses of growth, movement, depth and time, sculpting them into new forms. Shown side-by-side and in real life, the 2d and 3d forms provide glimpses into the complex experience of three-dimensionality from different viewpoints.
I’ll be creating columns installations as part of the exhibition, similar to the forms in the top row.
Drawings will be on sale at the exhibition and do get in touch via the contacts page if you would like more information before the exhibition.
Join me at the gallery to experience the work in real life and discuss the ideas behind the work.
