UPCOMING EXHIBITION - Iterate - London 2026

 

Looking at relationships that emerge between original works and their smaller iterations, our exhibition questions a sculptural norm. While large-scale work is generally developed from smaller models, the 'little messengers' shown here are ready to go out into the world in their own right.

So are these smaller versions simply direct replicas of the larger works? Or possibly independent forms, containing the essence of an original work? Maybe they expand the original concept in some way, or they're simply their monetising offspring with a nod to seductive gift shop takeaways.

Iterate is a group exhibition that brings together the work of four members of the Royal Society of Sculptors:
