Flowform drawings

The flowform drawings began as a way to look more closely at relationships of form and void found in the 3d installations.  As they developed they became wider expressions of form in two dimensions. A new sense of depth emerged through chiaroscuro, while a close connection built up between the movement and the drawing, along with new patterns of form and void.  Ruled and curved lines introduced an interesting sense of 'visual gravity' between forms that were in close proximity on the page.
